Thanks for all the feedback. I think the discussion was starting to
cycle the same card names over and over, so I'll just stop things here.
The exact cards we select will depend on how many slots we have
available in an upcoming promo card print run. We'll let you know once
the cards enter tournament pack distribution.
Taking the "rare singles as tournament pack additions" idea under
further consideration.

Hello Steve,
although you officially stopped this discussion, I can't refrain from adding
my 2 cents (and those of 7 other German players, who gave my their opinion
during the last weekend). As a favor to the Conclave, I do this as private
email to you...
To no one's surprise, these are the favorites named most often (number of
votes behind the card names - I did not list cards that were only mentioned
once):
Deflection 5
Minion Tap 5
Govern the Unaligned 3
Taste of Vitae 3
Kine Resources Contested 3
Archon Investigation 2
Majesty 2
Telepathic Misdirection 2
Personally, I do think that some of the cards mentioned in the last days,
namely, Direct Intervention and Dreams of the Sphinx, should neither be
given out as promos nor as prizes at tournaments.
The fist option would bother some of the collectors out there, the second
would, I believe, lead to a point of view amongst some players that
tournament winners, who tend to already have those two "power" cards, still
get more of them, and therefore become still harder to beat.
The alternative mentioned in our playgroups discussion was to just include
these much sought after cards in a future expansion as a reprint - not in
some starters, which would sell out quickly as happend in the past, but as
regular uncommon cards in the boosters.
Even in an expansion the size of Gehenna, I guess nobody would mind if we
just got 140 new cards, and a reprint of the 10 "Most Wanted" Uncommons or
Rares.
