Die Krönung haben wir noch lange nicht erreicht. Wie wäre es mit (virtuellen) Karten, die die Spieler nur für eine bestimmte Zeitdauer leasen können. (So mitten im Turnier-Finale dann: Tut mir leid, die Leasing-Dauer ihrer DI ist seit 30 Minuten abgelaufen, Sie können die Karte jetzt nicht mehr spielen.) Natürlich werden die Leasing-Booster trotzdem nur zufällig bestückt.

Mich wundert auch das neue "Sortiment" an Precons - Tzimisce und Brujah find ich noch wichtig, weil von denen gabs ja noch keine Precons im neuen Outfit - aber Tremere und Malks wurden ja erst im BH neu aufgelegt

Aber ich denke und hoffe mal nicht, dass sie an den Regeln großartig was ändern würden - das haben sie auch die vergangenen 12 Jahre nicht gemacht (soweit ich mich erinnern kann). Vielleicht kommen neue Draft-Regeln hinzu, aber ich glaub nicht, dass das die Spielbarkeit der alten Karten einschränken wird

Vampire: The Eternal Struggle 3rd Edition Pre-Release Event

Now in it's 12th year of play, White Wolf Publishing Celebrates the latest
expansion of Vampire: The Eternal Struggle (VTES), White Wolf Publishing and
the Princes of the Elder Kindred Network (VEKN) are promoting a weekend long
series of tournaments and special events across the globe. The goal of this
world spanning event is to help existing players entice new players into the
game. Below is the basic information needed to plan your own tournament.

On September 2nd and 3rd, VEKN players and Princes will team up with
retailers around the world in an effort to create new players for White Wolf's
award winning. Ccg, Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. Coinciding with the
launch of the 3rd Edition VTES, this pre-release event will focus on
bringing new players into the fold of one of the longest running ccgs in the
market.

Why is the VTES 3rd Edition pre-release kit the best way to do this?

one promo playmat and one promo card. After attending the demo, the players
should each keep their decks and the player who ran the demo should receive
five booster packs, one for each player. After the demo, the players can
purchase one starter deck and four booster packs each and participate in a
sealed deck tournament.

Princes/Organizers:

This event is designed to bolster your existing playgroup and strengthen
ties with your local retailer. It is suggested that members of your
playgroup run demos for new players in the store the day of the event.

If time allows, there is enough product with this kit to purchase 8 starters
and 32 boosters for an 8-person Limited Event.

Bitte bachte, dass die gestrige Mail von Oscar den Inhalt des Pre-Release-Kist beschreibt, die vorherige von dir zitierte Ankündigung aber das "Player's Kit".
Ich vermute allerdings auch, dass die Demo-Decks aus dem Pre-Release Kit dieselben sein werden wie aus dem separat erhältlichen Player's Kit, und wundere mich dann mit dir zusammen, dass es dann nicht alle vier verschiedenen im Pre-release gibt...

Bei Ani-Pot stimme ich Dir zu...

Ich habe zu dem Thema gerade mal in die Conclave gepostet; wenn ich was höre, dann hört ihr auch was...

Ich habe mal gegoogelt, beim Vampire:The Masquerade PC Spiel wird eine "Waxen Poetica" als Waffe aufgelistet, jedoch ohne genauere Beschreibung. Ideen?

Aus dem Kapitel "Appendix: Enchanted Items for Vampire"

"Waxen Poetica - feared by all those who have encountered these little wax tablets, the Waxen Poetica have caused the horrid destruction of more than one of the undead. When washed in a point of blood, the user can spend a Willpower point and throw it at a foe. Upon hitting that foe, the wax latches on and begins to spread across its victim's body. Extremly hot, it begins to cause damage once it has covered at least half of the body (usually after three turns). For every succeeding turn it causes an additional die of aggravated damage, which may be soaked normally. Thus by the 10th turn after it has hit someone, the wax causes seven dice of damage. The wax cannot be removed unless the Storyteller botches its damage roll, in which case it stops growing and begins to cool to the point where the character can peel it off. Note that after six turns it completely covers its victim, prohibiting action and smothering mortals."

Hat sich inzwischen wa getan, ob die Demo-Decks aus Prerelease und Players-Kit identisch sind? Und warum nur 3 im Pre-Kit?

Bin etwas ratlos, was ich den jetzt für das Prerelease bestellen soll.
