Lords of the Night

Lords of the Night

Lords of the Night is White Wolf's thirteenth expansion for Vampire: The Eternal Struggle, and is the second set to focus on the four main independent clans.

Each booster pack contains 11 cards randomly selected from a set of 150 all-new cards (no reprints) consisting of 50 rares, 50 uncommons, and 50 commons.

The set also features 4 non-random preconstructed decks, Assamite, Followers of Set, Giovanni, and Ravnos, which contain even more cards and are designed to get beginning players started right away. Each preconstructed deck contains new vampires and library cards that aren't found in the boosters.

Na nicht ganz, in den Preconstructed gibt es Reprints. Bei den Tzimisce von der 3rd gab es auch einen Warghoul im Precon.

Der Titel des Threads braucht dringend eine Überarbeitung. Da sind doch wohl mehr als nur Gerüchte.

Ralf hat Recht: das steht in der Mitteilung nicht, dass der "Lords of the Night" Set keine Reprints habe...

Immerhin ist es schon länger her, dass es ein Independent-Clan-Precon-Set gab als ein Camarilla-Set - insofern haben die schon ne Berechtigung ^^

So ist das.

Unten folgt die Liste der Erweiterungen, die von White Wolf herausgegeben wurden, und dazu meine Anmerkungen, was für Vampire enthalten waren.

Unter den "Klassischen Independent" verstehe ich Assamiten, Ravnos, Giovanni, und Followers of Set - mittlerweiel sidn ja auch Gangrel per default independent, aber die führe ich hier gesondert auf, da sie auch bei den Sets gesondert behandelt wurden.

Manchmal gehören bestimmte Vampire nicht ihrer Default Sekte an, z.B. die "klasischen Independent", die Laibon sind. Da bin ich nicht so streng...

Sabbat War [Sabbat]
Final Nights [die vier klassischen Independent & ein paar Camarilla und Sabbat]
Bloodlines [nun... Bloodlines]
Camarilla Edition [Camarilla (ohne Gangrel) und ein paar Sabbat]
Anarchs [Gangrel, und eine bunte Mischung, von jedem etwas: Camarilla, die vier klassischen Independent, und Sabbat]
Black Hand [Sabbat und ein paar klassische Independent]
Gehenna [von jedem etwas: Camarilla, Sabbat, Gangrel, und klassische Independent]
10th Anniversary [irgendwie ausser Konkurrenz, aber: Camarilla und klassische Independent]
Kindred Most Wanted [ganz merkwürdige Mischung: klassische Independent, Baali, Gangrel antitribu, und ein paar Camarilla und Sabbat]
Legacies of Blood [Laibon, Bloodlines, und ein paar klassische Independent und Sabbat]
Nights Of Reckoning [kommt völlig ohne Vampire aus]

Es ist also in der Tat richtig: die vier klassischen Independent Clans haben schon sehr lange keine Starter und keinen grossen Schwung neues Blut mehr erhalten, und waren fällig.

In den WW-Foren kamen nun natürlich die ersten Beschwerden, dass zu einem Independent-Set eigentlich auch Gangrel gehören, und dieser Cland hat in der Tat auch ewig schon nichts mehr abbekommen - aber wer sagt denn, dass Lords of the Night nicht auch für die Tierfreunde unter uns was dabei hat?

Es muss "das nächste VTES-Set" heissen. Der männliche Artikel ist hier wohl unangebracht.
