Lords of the Night: Die nächste VTES-Erweiterung

Im aktuellen White Wolf Quarterly wird Lords of the Night für "September 2007" angekündigt.
Ansonsten gibt das Magazin leider keinerlei weitere Information oder gar einen Artikel über unser Spiel her.

White Wolf Announces Vampire: The Eternal Struggle Lords of the Night Launch Event

Now in its 13th year of play, White Wolf celebrates the latest expansion of Vampire: The Eternal Struggle (VTES). White Wolf and the Princes of the Elder Kindred Network (VEKN) are promoting a weekend long series of tournaments and special events across the globe. Below is the basic information needed to plan your own tournament:

On the weekend of September 29th, VEKN players and Princes will team up with retailers around the world to organize a launch event for White Wolf's award winning CCG, Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. Coinciding with the launch of Lords of the Night, this event will celebrate the latest expansion of one of the longest running CCGs in the market.

7.3. Standard Sealed Deck Tournament Rules

7.3.1. Deck Construction

Before tournament play begins, each player receives an assortment of sealed product. Each player then creates a tournament deck that meets the Sealed-Deck size requirements found in the game's VEKN Floor Rules. Players are given a set amount of time, determined by the event organizer, in which to construct their decks.

The head judge or tournament organizer may require players to record on a decklist every card they intend to play in their decks. Failure to properly record the cards being played will result in the head judge applying the appropriate provisions of the VEKN Penalty Guidelines.

AFTER THE EVENT: Let us know how things went. The WW Website will be putting up a news story on the launch events. We want pictures. Tell us how many people showed up. How many players did you meet? We'll draw a name from the post-event reports submitted and send one person a display of Lords of the Night, just to say thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Was interessant ist, dass das Erscheinungsdatum ein Mittwoch ist, und kein Montag wie bisher. Deshalb ist auch das Pre-Release nach dem Erscheinungsdatum, und nicht wie sonst, vorher. Mal schauen, wie sich das auswirkt.

Was mir auf jeden Fall gut gefällt, ist die Aufforderung Bildmaterial, Infos, etc. zurück an WW zu schicken, um das ganze etwas mehr zu promoten.

Oscar Garza, Organized Play Coordinator für WW, hat in der Newsgroup ausserdem erläutert, dass der Turnier-Termin diesmal nach dem Erscheinungsadteum liegt, weil es immer wieder in der Vergangenheit Probleme mit der Auslieferung des Pre-Release-Materials gegeben hat.
