I prevent your Strike with Skin of Steel [for]

I'll play a third apparition, to prevent 2 more. now preventing 6 in total, which should be enough?

I'm at 2/6. We both have struck for a mighty 0. If no more from you, you take a damage from the Drawing out the Beast as we press on...

Next round, you're 1/6, I'm 2/6. Pre/maneuver?

I think you have won this one, you can prevent 6 damage each Round and I can´t do nothing against...

Horrible Combo

My last Cards are:

Immortal Grapple
Disarm
Fake Out 2x
Skin of Steel

Nice Fight...

I don´t think so, cause you can S:CE and Psyche! and Terror Frenzy is gone...

When you will bannen TF you must also bannen Apparition, DotB, IG, Disarm and many more. TF is not a Card like Rowan Ring, who kills you in one Action...

Maybe we just haven't seen enought S:CE/Psyche! decks, then. Trouble is, TF decks will usually also include drawing out the beast - and immortal grapple.

It just seems against the spirit of the Battle Arena, TF (mechanically). It's really really harsh to make the other guy spend 7 extra blood if he wants to play all his cards (unless he's lucky and is acting minion, so can dump his pre-range first).

IMO Terror Frenzy is one of the strongest cards in Battle Arena, and it involves a lot of luck as well - many ANI decks play a lot pre-range, and if you go second and have it played against you, you are in a dire position. That being said in in 5 cap matches it's not too overpowered, exactly because it is neutered by S:CE/Psyche. Grapple decks using TF are terribly vulnerable to poke (only Nigel and Calebros have ANI/pot). 6 caps bring in Vaclav though... Haven't spend so much time thinking about 6 cap-BA, so I'll postpone my judgement on TF-brokenness.

On that account you'd have to ban cards like Wave of Lethargy (essentially the same, but last only for the turn and targets only maneuvers, presses and strikes) or Skin Trap (pay one blood or loose strike).

Sure, they are not as strong, but anyway, it's the old discussion: Ban the strongest, and you create the next broken card.

Just another 2 cents
