Auch wenn es sicherlich einigen unter den Nägeln brennt, das neue Set zu besitzen/spielen, finde ich es dennoch gut, dass man sich Zeit lässt, um am Ende mit einem tollen und durchdachten Produkt zu überzeugen. Lediglich die Tokens und das Edge „enttäuschen“ mich ein wenig.

Danke für den Hinweis auf die Tokens und das Edge. Ich dachte, das wären "Spielfelder" ...

Ich denke das ist an dieser Stelle ein Versuch die Kosten zu reduzieren, was bei einem derart umfangreichen Paket denke ich sinnvoll ist um die Hürde für den Einstieg so niedrig wie möglich zu halten.

Solange es anstständiger SPielbrett Karton ist, sind Karton Egdes und Pool absolut ok.
wenn ich mir das set hole,, öchte ich nicht ausschleissen diese Tokens sogar halbwegs alngfristig zu verwenden, weil die einfach viel wenigfer platz wegnehmen als meine aktuellen.

Finally the blood counters are made of cardboard, acrylic or what material?

Ouu, man, are that paper pool counters!? I really appreciate the effort, but will these decks be available in old classic and cheaper packaging (without a hard box, rulebook and meaningless paper counters)?

Henrik Klippström We avoid glass beads to keep down the weight and cost for customer. I hope you will understand. Decks will maybe be sold separate, but later and at a higher price per deck than if you buy the big box.

I absolutely understand. I also understand that this targets the beginners. But I don't know, it's better that there are no counters than these paper ones. I have played Android Netrunner quite a lot with the paper counters and it is really pain in the ass. It's definitely even worse for VTES.

Henrik Klippström The game needs counters. Countless people have been asking for a box with everything you need to play the game. Here it is! You, as an experienced player, are of course free to use whatever counters you prefer instead of these ones I personally love blood red glass beads!

Some noticed on the Bolesław Gutowski promo card that the clan symbol for the Malkavians was slightly different. What's up with that?

Ben Peal, product director: Astute observation! The symbols for the Camarilla clans got a facelift in 5th Edition Vampire: the Masquerade. VTES is derived from that source material, so any new crypt cards we make for those clans will accordingly have the new clan symbols. The new symbols don't represent new clans – it's just like the changes to the clan symbols for Tzimisce and Lasombra way back between the Sabbat and Sabbat War expansions. Note that for reprints of the White Wolf-era cards we'll have available via print-on-demand, we'll be using the original clan symbols so that the look of those cards remains consistent with the cards you already own. For library cards, anything printed (or re-printed) in brand-new products based on the V5 source material (like the upcoming V5 set) will use the new clan symbols.

Work on Fifth Edition continues, now mainly marketing preparation and the last touches on the new rulebook. The actual card and deck design is finished and both cards and deck lists will be spoiled very soon.
