Online VTES project at CCG Workshop has been activated.

New ranking system Coming in 2 weeks.

Next expansions to be set in pre-Gehenna timeline (1999-2003).

10th Anniversary set two different sets of 100 cards, each. 90 reprints of
staple Jyhad/VTES cards with new layout and card text, and 10 new cards,
each (200 cards total). Will be packaged in SteelRook cases oversized to
fit a VTES deck (110 cards).

Announced 'Build your own Storyline' a Prince's Choice of format and plot.
If a winner also wins a Continental Championship(?) plot line gets
incorporated into a future release.

Next storyline: "The Infernal Plague" a one-shot focusing on a Baali clan
corruption plotline. Brush up your infernal decks...

February Expansion: Kindred Most Wanted, includes Red List, and at its core
focuses on the Independent clans (DZ: presumably, lots of G4)

The "Double Edge" rumor from Lotus Noir was a playtested rule (dug out of 11
year old WotC playtest notes), which didn't make the expansion, but hasn't
been abandoned, either.

Well I hope I don't get banned from the forum for spoiling but I'm so
happy with the chat that I have to shout it

The next storyline event will deal with infernalism and the return of
the baali and infiltration of infernal vampires in all clans and
sects .

The 10th edition will be 2 sets of 100 cards with metal cases where
90 are reprints of Jyhad and the original VTES and 10 new cards.

And the TBA set for next february will be The Kindred Most Wanted!!!
With a lot of independent vampires in there!!.

Actually that is only partially correct. The reprints will be cards
from Jyhad, VTES and "other classic VTES sets". I take this to be
meaning we´ll get reprints from Dark Sovereigns, Ancient Hearts, and,
maybe, hopefully, Sabbat ( may I say Direct Intervention, Decapitate
and others? ).

White Wolf held a developer's chat where LSJ and Steve Weick answered questions as well as they could.

Some answers could be gleamed from the event:

The anniversary expansion will be released as two 100 card steel boxes with 10 new cards and 90 reprints of Jyhad/VTES cards with the current layout. The 10 new cards will be fixed.

A storyline centered around the Baali will come as a one tournament event the coming autumn.

A storyline where the local playgroup can invent their own requirements, cards and such will occur. Actual data is still very unclear though.

Bloodlines will eventually get new cards.

The new roleplaying game will not be part of V:TES, and the clock will effectively halt at 2003 with planned expansions centering on the years 1999 - 2003.

Hmmmm.. wenn jetzt noch klar wäre, ob in diese speziellen Deck Boxen auch 110 Karten mit Schutzhüllen reinpassen...

So wirken die Abbildungen auf der Webseite auch auf mich.

Denn wenn ich mir schon 2x2 von den Boxen kaufe (da ich ja gierig wie ich bin alle neuen Karten auch immer doppelt haben will), dann sollen die ja nicht im Schrank verrosten...

(Mein Gott, da habe ich noch nicht mal meine Displays Gehenna beim Dealer abgeholt, und plane schon die Einkäufe für das nächste Release... )
