SECTION 2: EVENT QUESTIONS
==============================================
2.1. How did the Nergal deck do in the finals?:
After a strong start, it was stopped by Nergal being sent to torpor (with 0 blood), and The Great Beast
under a Pentex Subversion, so that the Nergal deck could not do anything.
After quite some time and several futile attempts by his ally (see below) to either rescue Nergal or destroy the Pentex (all
these attempts were blocked by a Tzimisce wall deck), the Nergal deck was then ousted by repeated bleeds by a Gangrel deck.

Early in the finals, Thorsten (playing small- to midcap Tzimisce stealth bleed) made a deal to help Nergal to get
the 2nd place in the event. Hence, the designation of "the corrupted Tzimisce" as opposed to another
Tzimisce deck that was in the finals, too.
The other three players (high-cap Tzimisce wall; small- to mid-cap Gangrel bleed; high-cap Ventrue vote)
allied themselves against the other two players to stop nergal and his ally.

For all of these questions, the answers are given (in chronological order) from the finals:
- Nergal Calls a Great Beast and brings it into play next turn.
- The "corrupted" Tzimisce ally of Nergal and Nergal himself oust the Tzimisce's prey, a Ventrue
politics deck, by repeated stealth bleeds.
- Nergal gets blocked by Little Tailor and is sent to torpor with Chiropteran Marauder & Rötschreck.
But Nergal's "corrupted" Tzimisce ally sends his minions to rescue Nergal from torpor.
- The Great Beast gets hit by Pentex Subversion played by Tzimisce player.
- Meshenka, who tries to remove the Pentex Subversion from the Great Beast, is blocked and sent to torpor
by Sascha Vykos (Adv). Ricky van Demsey then diablerizes Meshenka.
- Nergal himself tries to remove the Pentex Subversion from the Great Beast, is blocked by Little Tailor,
and both go to torpor from aggravated damage in the resulting combat.
- Horatio tries to remove the Pentex Subversion from the Great Beast, is blocked and sent to torpor
by Sascha Vykos (Adv).
- Caliban tries to remove the Pentex Subversion from the Great Beast, is blocked and sent to torpor
by Little Tailor with Chiropteran Marauder & Rötschreck. Caliban gets diablerized by the Gangrel.
- Horatio tries to diablerize Nergal in torpor (with the aim of allowing Nergal to come back), but is
blocked by Little Tailor with Eagle's Sight and sent to torpor. Horatio gets diablerized by the Gangrel.
- The Tzimisce and the Gangrel slowly bleed the "corrupted" Tzimisce to death while Nergal's player
desperately tries to cycle cards with the help of Nergal's Fragment of the Book of Nod. Finally, the "corrupted"
Tzimisce are ousted.
- Nergal gets a Nergal's Blood Doll, 2 blood are moved to him, and he successfully leaves torpor after foiling block attemps with
stealth.
But then he uses Demonic Freak Drive to untap, hunts, and despite of Infernal Psychomachia used against Sascha Vykos,
is blocked by Little Tailor, who gets the necessary intercept from the Gangrel player via Londeon Evening Star.
Little Tailor sends Nergal back to torpor with Chiropteran Marauder & Rötschreck.
- The Gangrel bleed Nergal out.
- Both allies holding their deal, the Tzimisce and the Gangrel withdraw from the table.
