VTES online updates

Hello,
The past few months we've been debating on how to determine the direction of the V:TES beta. The closed beta didn't work because there was not enough players online at one time. So a survey was sent out to determine why. As it turned out, the main reason people weren't logging in to play was because there was not enough players online to play...
So we approached White Wolf with the results of the survey. Some of the ideas tossed around were to make the beta open or just go ahead and make the game public. White Wolf has decided to go ahead and make the game public. So V:TES is going live for public release on Friday, December 19, 2005, just in time for the beginning of Christmas break in the US.
To prepare, we will be looking hard at the existing defects that have been reported, and the exception reports that have been logged. This will not be a trivial task. Between now and the big event we will be releasing several builds to fix the reported bugs. If all of you could help test the new system after each new build, we will have more success with the final push.
A few days before the public release, the server will be taken down and the necessary modifications to the software to enable the pay-for-play system will be made. When the server opens to the public on the 19th, the server will be pay-for-play.
As previously stated, V:TES will cost $5US per month. However, every new player that signs up to play V:TES Online will be granted a free month to decide if they want to subscribe.
As a special thank you, all testers who help with the final push will receive 3 months of free access.
Shortly after the public release, the Anarchs expansion will be made available to further add to your deck-building materials.
