Kurzergebnis des dt. Qualifiers 2007:

Finale:
1. Olivier Perez 3 VP, GW -- Shambling Hordes + Sudario Refraction
2. Robert Müller 1 VP -- Malk Royalty + Progeny
3. Martin Schumacher 1 VP -- Malgrazorta & other broken cards
4. Joeroen Rombouts -- Bru/!Bru Bruise + Bleed Cel Gun
5. Kim ... -- Malk S&B

Ansonsten Lob an alle und Joscha als Organistor im besonderen:
- sehr brauchbare Lokation
- (fast) eingehaltener Zeitplan
- nur 5er Tische (bei 30 Teilnehmern)
- von 19 Tischen inkl. Finale gab es 16 GW. Fand ich sehr beindruckend.
- mir gefallen die neuen Dealregeln immer besser, das Verhuren für einen VP ist doch deutlich seltener zu sehen, genauso komische Prey-Predator-Tablesplit-Deals.

Vielen Dank an Joscha, für die Organisation, die gute Lokation, und dass er genau 30 Leute zusammengetrommelt hat...

Der Björn hat sich bereit erklärt, alle gespielten Decktypen aufzulisten. Die ersten fünf Decks gibt es auf jeden Fall ausführlich.
Wer kann mir mal erklären, wie ich euch am einfachsten die Fotos zugänglich mache?

The VII. German Continental Qualifier was held in Frankfurt at February, 25th 2007. 30 Methuselahs gathered at the Stadthalle Zeilsheim. They played in a smooth, friendly and competitive atmosphere and enjoyed meeting with fellow players in a nice environment. There were players from Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Great Britain and even Australia and Japan. After three rounds of hard fighting these 8 players qualified for Continental Championships:

Unfortunately Andreas had to leave right before the finals. So Kai joined in to play for the title.

The Final

Final Seating was:

Kai Kimmerle (Malk Biggies S&B) -> Martin Schumacher (Anti-Tremere equipment toolbox) -> Robert Müller (Malkav old 3rd-swarm vote) -> Jeroen Rombouts (Anti-Brujah Guns) -> Olivier Perez (Speedshambler with Sudario Refraction)

Martin, Jeroen and Olivier knew each other from the first round, where the Shambling Hordes got the Game Win. Right from the start Jeroen tried to keep the Gios low on blood, so they can’t call Hordes. Olivier knew that Jeroen’s gunners are the most dangerous deck for him, so he played hard against him right from the start. He Died a gun and played a Pentex Subversion on a gun-armed Rigby. Kai allowed Olivier two Shamblers for the promise, that they are only for defence (Olivier: “Let’s call him Bob. Bob will never attack you.” Kai: “Okay then.” Olivier later: “Can I have another Bob please?” Kai: “Okay, if he behave like a Bob.”) The table tried to convince Kai, that he should not trust the Gios, but he did. (Later in the game he was flattened by the two Bobs and Bob’s comrades.) Martin slowly built up, getting an early Heart of Nizchetus and with that lots of useful equipment, to stop Kai (Bowl of Convergence, Sargon Fragment, Ivory Bow). Kai seldom bled but tried to build up with Governs and Scouting Missions on superior. In the meantime Robert could build up without pressure, getting one Third Tradition minion at least each turn. Getting pool with some Consanguineous Boons and damaging Jeroen with some KRCs and Conservative Agitations he was looking as he would have a strong position. But as soon as he ousted Jeroen he faced the numerous Shamblings again, an experience he knew from the second round, where they rolled over his minions. As he lost one good defence against them, Muddled Vampire Hunter, to Jeroen earlier in the game due to a Entrancement he agreed a peace treaty Olivier offered. The Shambling Hordes quickly shredded Kai’s minions, stealing them with Grave Robbings. Getting still more Shamblers, Olivier slowly decreased Kai’s pool. Martin managed to prevent Robert to play successful Con.Boons. With good use of the Sargon Fragment he ousted Robert getting the same Conditioning over and over again. Olivier could not block that because he left Kai on one pool and in play to prevent Martin from blocking his recruitments of Shambling Hordes. After Robert’s oust Martin couldn’t get more equipment any more because Olivier’s minions with the help of a The Unmasking blocked his equipping actions (Martin was in dire need of his .44 Magnums). So the Endgame went to Olivier, who won the Qualifier with three VPs.

Ganz ausdrücklich möchte ich mich noch bei den folgenden Leuten für die Mithilfe bedanken:

- Vtes.de (Johannes und Andreas) für das Sponsoring (kauft da ein, Leute!!!)
- Christopher für den zweiten Laptop und den Drucker
- Robert, Johannes, Christoph und Nicole für das Checken der Decklisten
- Björn, Ralph und Martin für die Hilfe beim Aufräumen
- Lucia für die Unterhaltung während der Runden und die Minderung der Langeweile

Da 30 Leute da waren, hatte ich die Raummiete von 183,- Euro genau wieder drin. Wunderbar.

Es war prima Joscha, danke nochmal denn es ist nicht selbstverständlich sich für die Orga zu opfern anstatt zu spielen.

Und ich stimme zu es war eine beindruckende Zahl an Gamewins.

Meine zwei kollegen haben mich gebeten auch in ihrem Namen uns hier herzlich für dieses Wochenende in Deutschland zu bedanken !! Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit, und wir haben es genossen mit der deutschen playgruppe zu spielen.
Unserer besonderer dank geht hier auch an Johannes der uns grosszügiggerweise alle 3 bei sich aufgenommen hat, der wirklich eine toller Gastgeber war und der für uns auch sogar Fremdenführer gespielt hat.


Alles Gute und auf ein Baldiges wiedersehen,
natürlich seit ihr auch alle in der Schweiz immerzeit willkomen ( und zwar ohne Bunker )

Hier so eine ähnliche Deckliste, müsste fast identisch sein, es gibt andere Schweizer die das Deck schon gespielt haben und damit im Finale waren und die haben kein Problem mit dem oh-doch-so Secret Tech in Foren zu posten. Also hier Amiel Feldmans Version:

No pun intended Olivier, but I think we are one community!

Ollivier wird Anthelios und unmasking öffter drin haben. Bei ihm kam beides immer sehr zuverlässig in den ersten 3-4 Turns, zumindest wenn ich sein Deck gesehen habe.
