Hi!

Ich hab hier mal ne Frage (genau genommen sind es drei), die mir bei der letzten Vtes Runde aufkamen...

1. Ist Magic ot Smith eine Equip-Action? gibt ja einige Vampire, die was besonderes bei Equip actions haben...

Magic of the Smith
+1 stealth action.
[tha] Search your library for an equipment card and equip this acting vampire with it. (Pay cost to equip as normal. ) Shuffle your library afterward.
[THA] As above, but this is a +3 stealth action.

2. Ist the Summoning eine recruit ally/ employ Retainer action?

The Summoning
+1 stealth action.
[pre] Search your library for an ally or retainer. Show it to all players and put it in your hand. Discard down to your hand size and shuffle your library afterward.
[PRE] Search your library for an ally. This vampire recruits that ally (he or she must meet the requirements, if any, of the ally). Pay cost as normal. Shuffle your library afterward.

3. Ist Govern the Unaligned superior eine "action, to bring a vampire into play"?

Govern the Unaligned
[dom] (D) Bleed with +2 bleed.
[DOM] +1 stealth action. Move 3 blood from the blood bank to a younger vampire in your uncontrolled region.

ja , magic of the smith ist eine equip action , du kannst also nicht item requierments umgehen (wie zb bei Alastor)

Auf summoning stehts sogar drauf , "recruits this ally"

Govern ist keine "action to put a Vampire into play"

Moment! Das ist zwar richtig aber stand auch nicht zur Debatte. Es ging um folgendes: Bekomme ich auf ein MotS +1 stealth mehr wenn ich diesen Herren im Spiel habe:

Roderick Phillips March
Clan: Kiasyd (group 4)
Capacity: 7
Disciplines: DOM MYT cel obt tha
Sabbat: While Roderick is ready, minions you control get an additional +1 stealth on equip actions. Cold iron vulnerability.

Meiner Meinung nach nein, der text redet zwar von equipen, aber meiner Meinung nach müsste das dann auch explizit schon erwähnt werden das es eine Equipaction ist (vergleiche andere actions z.B. Anonymous freight)

Der Unterschied im Wording zischen 'anonymous freight' und 'magic of the smith' rührt daher, dass es bestimmte karten gibt (e.g. forger's hammer), die nur gespielt werden können, wenn du von deiner Hand equipst.
Diese kann man dann eben nur auf equip-actions mit Karten wie 'anonymous freight' spielen, nicht auf equip-actions mit Karten wie 'vast wealth' und 'magic of the smith'. Was nix daran ändert, dass beides equip-actions sind.

Was die von dir markierten Stellen angeht, lässt sich dass vielleicht mit dem sehr unterschiedlichen Alter der Karten erklären. So haben sie AnFr 13 Jahre später direkt so gedruckt, um Missverständnissen vorzubeugen.

Wie's aussieht hab ich da Scheiße gelabert, gerade mit LSJ abgeklärt... Entweder hat sich Johannes getäuscht, oder ich hab ihn einfach nur falsch verstanden.

Was, weil es in der OP nicht explizit differenziert wurden, aber nur für Summoning auf superior Presence gilt.

Warum sollte MoS keine Equipaction sein. Auf der Karte wird doch auch explizit erwähnt, das der actende Vampir sich mit dem rausgesuchten Equipment equiped. (Denglisch for Runaways )

Deshalb ist deine Aussage richtig, Rodericks Special gilt nur für Actioncardactions auf der speziell draufsteht, daß der Vampir sich Equiped. Wie z.B. Magic of the Smith.
Es steht nicht, daß das Equipment von der Hand gespielt werden muß.
