ich finde, der Bereich "Funky Decks" verdient ein wenig neue Aufmerksamkeit.
Hier gibt es so viele Schätzchen und Geschichten zu finden, dass es schade wäre, wenn dieser Thread weiterhin vor sich hin dümpeln würde.
Aus diesem Grund möchte ich die "Funky Deck Challenge" (FDC) ins Leben rufen!
Wie soll die FDC funktionieren?
Wer zur Challenge eingeladen wird und diese (hoffentlich!) annimmt, nimmt ein "altes" Funky Deck (ein eigenes oder das von jemand anderem) und gestaltet es "neu".
(Es sind in der Zwischenzeit so viele Möglichkeiten hinzugekommen, dass das einigermaßen leicht zu machen sein sollte.)
Das neue gestaltete Deck wird sowohl hier als auch in der "Secret Library" (dort bitte mit dem Zusatz "Funky Deck") gepostet.
Dann gilt die Funky Deck Challenge als erfüllt – und man darf 3 Spieler zur Challenge einladen.
(Anfangs möchte ich darum bitten, Doppelnennungen zu vermeiden, damit sich möglichst viele Leute beteiligen können.)

I want to increase the traffic in our "Funky Decks" thread.
You can find a lot of "pearls" and interesting stories here.
This is why made calls for the "Funky Deck Challenge" (FDC)!
What is the FDC, and how is it ment to work?
Whoever is nominated for the Challenge (self-nomination is possible, but less fun) and accepts it, takes an "old" funky deck* (it might be one of his own or that of someone else) und create a "new" one out of it.
(At lot of new possibilities [= cards] have been created over the years, so it should be somehow easy.)
The new deck is to be posted in the "Secret Library" (with "Funky Deck" added to the name), and in this forum in the "Funky Decks" area.
Then you have fulfilled the Funky Deck Challenge – and as a reward, you may invite (up to) 3 players to the challenge on your own.
(The idea is to spread it among the players.)

* NB: What is a funky deck? It is something in between a tournament deck and a pure fun deck.
It should show some crypt and/or library cards, which are not the "usual suspects", maybe even have some kind of theme (play that funky music ^^).
Nevertheless, it should remain competitive.
